“From 2010-2020, only 38 worship songs appeared on the CCLI and PraiseCharts Top 25 list.
37 of them were co-written or popularized by a mere 5 megachurches.” —WorshipLeaderResearch.com
But God is working in all of us.
Every city, every worshipping community, every believer.
We should sing like it.
No matter where you go
in the United States, the worship songs you’re singing will probably lead back to
just a few of the same Christians.
How probably? Well:
The Worship Writers’ Publishing Group is a non-profit music publisher on a mission.
We’re supporting and cultivating the writers that God is growing here in Southeast Michigan, and connecting local churches to the richness of God’s work in their own backyards.
Through events and workshops and a growing resource library of local songs for worship,
WWPG invites you to pull up a chair and experience the Holy Spirit’s unique work here in Southeast Michigan.
Important dates:
WWPG launch date: July 1, 2026
First event for writers: September 2026
Local songbook release: early 2027.
